Al Bahri Hardware & Safety Equipment LLC was the first organization in the United Arab Emirates to sort and pack cotton waste, prior to which it was merely imported and sold as is. This allowed us even greater quality control and the ability to offer highly competitive rates.
Our team procures cotton rags from the textile industry and old-clothes collection centers, which are laboriously segregated first by material and then by color. Automation starts with removing foreign objects such as buttons, zippers, etc in order to ensure that they do not cause scratches when used for cleaning purposes, and finally with packaging the rags in to bundles. Variants of extremely low lint and lint-free are created. These are then exported worldwide.
Similarly yarn waste is procured from textile industry wastage. The processes are fully automated which includes cutting, washing, teasing and even opening the threads if required. It is finally packaged in to bundles and exported. Apart from various cleaning purposes our yarn waste are also used for oil/water absorption.
