BISON ABS 4 WH – rescue and descent device

The ABS 4 WH is a controlled descent device designed for the rescue and descent of 2 persons simultaneously. It features a double brake system that minimizes abrasion on the rope and removes force on the brakes. The centrifugal brake keeps the device at a constant speed throughout the descent process, and the new deviation point allows for the regulation of the descent speed. The device is made of aluminum housing and comes with IKAR kernmantle rope of 10.5mm diameter. The switched-on reverse lock acts as a ratchet system that ensures the casualty only travels upward during rescue, eliminating the risk of falling. The ABS 4 is perfect for self-rescue of 2 persons or multiple evacuations, as well as for training purposes. It has a nominal load of 200kg and lifting performance of 75m. The device has been tested to EN 341:2011/1A, EN 1496:2006/A, ANSI/ASSE Z359.4-2013 standards and has a model number of 42-ABS 4 WH.
